United Nations World Tourism Organization

There is a sub-group in the United Nations focused strictly on our industry. It is called the World Tourism Organization. They do worldwide research and work internationally with industry educators. One of their specific programs is called “TedQual.” TedQual stands for “Tourism Education Quality.” It is a recognition of institutions that meet the U.N.W.T.O. requirements for providing certifications.

Four institutions in the United State are currently TedQual Certified Institutions:
