The Maryland Smiles™ course has been designed for front line workforce members and students. It covers five hours of inter-personal skills, tourism knowledge and problem solving.

Maryland Taxi Host™ prepares front line transportation workers to better serve as community ambassadors. They receive customer service training, key site information and map reading skills and are given a written test at completion.

Maryland Governor’s Tourism Industry Conference (GTIC):

The GTIC, held annually since 1980, provides industry members with an intensive collection of workshops and seminars to enhance their business success.
