On Wednesday, October 5th, 2016, MTEF’s President, Deb Carter, accepted with extreme pleasure a $5,000 scholarship grant from the Maryland Hotel Lodging Association.

Michael Henningsen, Chair, and Amy Rohrer, President & CEO, used a portion of the MH&LA proceeds raised at MHLA’s Annual Golf Outing held at Whiskey Creek Golf Course to continue to award career scholarships to tourism and hospitality post-secondary students across the State of Maryland.
